The primary research focus of our lab is theoretical, statistical and computational approaches to understanding the evolution and spread of infectious diseases.
This includes:

1) Stochastic and deterministic dynamical models

2) Bio-informatics and genomic analysis

3) Epidemiology and statistics

The primary research focus of our lab is theoretical, statistical and computational approaches to understanding the evolution and spread of infectious diseases. This includes:

I arrived in Fall 2007, and am building a research group. I am interested in working with students and post-docs who are strongly motivated to study disease evolution and spread, whether in the field, the clinic, or the laboratory, or by analyzing existing public-health or genomic data, or using mathematical approaches to ask currently relevant questions. This would include students from biology, mathematics, computer science, and clinical epidemiology, among other fields.
